Sheffield’s leading leisure and entertainment facilities are open as usual today (Wednesday, January 6).
Snow fall in the city caused some disruption to sessions and events at Sheffield International Venues (SIV) facilities yesterday.
However, most venues are now back to normal with only minor alterations to programmes.

Don Valley Stadium
All areas open as usual with the exception of the outdoor running track which will be closed all day.
The English Institute of Sport – Sheffield (EIS Sheffield)
All areas open as usual but members of the public are advised to check with clubs, coaches or the venue before travelling in case of any cancellations.
Hillsborough Leisure Centre
All areas open as usual.
Sheffield City Hall
All areas open as usual.
Sheffield Arena
Tonight’s Sheffield Steelers match against Cardiff has been postponed. The rearranged date will be posted on the Arena website when it is confirmed at www.sheffieldarena.co.uk.
Westfield Sports Centre
All areas open as usual this evening.
Beauchief, Tinsley Park, Birley Wood and Tapton Park golf courses are closed for the foreseeable future. The clubhouses can be opened for private functions, meetings, and conferences.
