Sheffield youngsters will have the chance to follow in the footsteps of World Heptathlon Champion Jessica Ennis by taking part in a new coached sports camp at her 2012 training venues.
The Supercamp is being held throughout the summer holidays giving children the chance to try their hand at 30 sports including basketball, ice hockey, and athletics, all under the watchful eye of qualified coaches.
The camp will be held across three venues, including Don Valley Stadium and the English Institute of Sport, Sheffield (EIS) where Jessica currently trains. The third camp venue is iceSheffield.
Pat Smith, general manager of Don Valley, said: "The Supercamp is a great way to keep children entertained over the summer holidays. Not only is it fun, but it gets them active and gives them a chance to try out some new sports - all under the supervision of our fully trained coaches."
The Sheffield International Venues (SIV) organised Supercamp is open to boys and girls aged 8 to 13 and will run Monday-Friday for five weeks starting on Monday July 25.
Daily and weekly bookings can be made, with prices start at £25 per day. An exclusive camp t-shirt and lunch is included.
