| Sheffield dancers showcase skills at Don Valley party |
A group of Sheffield dancers will get the chance to showcase their skills in front of more than 600 people at a special festive party event in the city.
The girls, from the Elaine Nicholson School of Dance, in Grimesthorpe have been signed up to perform at Don Valley Stadium’s Christmas party.
They will perform the can-can, followed by five other routines at the Moulin Rouge-themed evening in the Stadium’s indoor exhibition area, which will be decorated in a traditional Parisian style.
One of the dancers taking part in the show is 13 year old Bethany Webb, from Ecclesfield. She said: “All the girls are really excited about the Don Valley show and we are looking forward to getting dressed up in the amazing, traditional costumes.
“We practice and perform at competitions and shows on a regular basis but this will be one of the biggest events we have been involved with. It will be quite nerve-wracking performing in front of so many people but it will be a great chance to show off a wide selection of our dancing skills.”
Party guest will enjoy a traditional festive three course meal and entertainment including a disco and fun casino.
