Sheffield 's only professional Rugby club, are based at Don Valley Stadium. The Eagles play in the LHF National League 2 and are anticipating a massive promotional push in 2006 following a wave of signings from the 1st division.
As well as playing their home games at Don Valley , the stadium also hosts The Eagles' famous Annual Tag Rugby Festival - the largest Primary Schools sporting event in South Yorkshire and The Eagles Summer Rugby Camps which have introduced many youngsters to the game of Rugby League at what is regarding as one of the best grounds in Rugby League.
The 1998 Challenge Cup winners moved to Don Valley following its opening and their highest attendance at the stadium to date is 10.603 against Bradford Bulls. Don Valley Stadium has also hosted international games, with World Champions Australia playing two tour matches at the Stadium.
